You need the ignition coil under the shrouding on the flywheel (on new engine), but you don't need the starter or solenoid if you are not going to use it.

WEBOct 8, 2022 · Re: Predator 420 , what is the best clutch ? Check vegas carts website. I’ve used the cvtech clutch they sell with good result. You *can* use the stock clutch. But you will have to cut a couple inches off the crankshaft of your new motor, drill the center out deeper for the bolt and tap it. This process, to me, sucks.

You can make the new mount and if you have much lift you could drop the front of the swing arm at the same time to level the swing arm more. You can also figure out which wiring your going to need/not need and remove and clean up the engine compartment as well.

It's a 3/4" crank shaft so finding a clutch will be difficult, and using an adapter isn't a great solution. It will be a little under powered for towing, hauling, and going uphill. Go with the 13hp 420.
