POLL: Looking for Mini Compressor Pedal Recommendations
WEBJan 26, 2021 · I picked the Xotic SP compressor because it is the best all around compressor of the minis. The Dyna Comp is a classic but I don't love it on single coils. The Pigtronix is the Mini of what I use on one of my boards, the Philosopher's Tone Germanium, and it's a really nice squisher with the ability to add some grit if needed.

WEBNov 24, 2015 · The SP Compressor, just like theor EP Booster, they just have the mojo man... they just have some magic in their circuitry that makes then sound like a million bucks... Walrus has a very bright future, all their stuff is great stuff, ibcluding the Deep Six, but I'll stuck with the Xotic for that extra mojo that nobody can replicate.

WEBMar 19, 2018 · Compared these two. I thought the SP had more brightness available and a faster attack. So, I went with the SP. Then, in true TGP fashion, I sold the SP and decided to stick with my Mooer Yellow Comp for the time being.

WEBAug 15, 2017 · I've got 2 Saffron Squeeze MKII pedals and it's also a nice compressor. It bumped the Xotic SP off my board. You have to spend a fair amount of time tweaking it and learning how the controls interact with each other. It doesn't have as much volume on tap as I'd like even with gain knob maxed. The sustain effects volume and squash.
