Jr. NTR's ‘Devara’ pre-release event was canceled as an overwhelming fan turnout led to chaos and overcrowding at the venue, forcing organizers to call it off.

Jr NTR will take part in the screening of Devara at the Beyond Fest in Los Angeles, USA, as part of promoting the movie across the northern USA. All other events in India and Hyderabad have been cancelled as the release date is around the corner.

Telugu actor Jr NTR released a video statement expressing sadness after the Devara pre-release event got cancelled in Hyderabad which was scheduled to be held on 2.

The makers of Jr NTR’s Devara planned a pre-release event for the film at Novotel, Hyderabad on Sunday. However, due to the excessive crowd and their out-of-control behaviour led the organisers to call off the event at the last minute.

Jr NTR said We regret being in this situation but are forever grateful to our beloved Man of Masses NTRs fans. The biggest celebration awaits. See you in theatres on Sept 27th.
