It's looking more and more like the suddenly red-hot Carolina Panthers will not end up as the worst team in the league.

The Bengals hold the 12th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft after last week's loss to the Ravens. It would be their highest pick since Joe Burrow had his rookie season cut short due to injury. NFL.com's Chad Reuter sees tight end as a big need in the 2025 draft.

Sam Bennett, who ranks second among Panthers players in points on the year (15), was a surprise scratch after tightening up in morning skate.

Timo Meier scored the go-ahead goal late in the second period, Jacob Markstrom made 34 saves and the New Jersey Devils snapped Florida's seven-game winning streak by beating the Panthers 4-1 on Tuesday night.
