The suspect accused of trying to assassinate Donald Trump at his Florida golf course wrote a chilling note months earlier declaring he intended to kill the former president, the Justice Department said Monday.

The suspect in an assassination attempt on Donald Trump kept a handwritten list of dates and locations of the former president’s movements and staked out his Florida home and golf course, prosecutors said.

The letter, addressed to "the world," accused Trump of having "ended relations with Iran like a child," leading to chaos in the Middle East.
