Insta360 Link 2C review: I’m going to use this webcam as a mirror now
When we reviewed the Insta360 Link ($299), we called it the most innovative webcam. If you were eyeing up that cam but wished it was smaller so you could travel with it, your prayers have just been answered. Meet the Link 2C, a 4K webcam that's hugely clever and slightly cheaper than the first-gen model.
Insta360's Webcams Now Come in Cheaper Models
The Link 2 and Link 2C are completely redesigned from the Link and come with some extra smarts.

Though the listed equivalent resolution of the Link 2 seems lower, that’s only because Insta360 themselves don’t have a listed still resolution. What’s more, the 50MP that the Tiny 2 boasts is similarly AI-enhanced, so these are both what scientists would call “guesstimates”.
Insta360’s new Link webcams are cheaper but can still follow you around
Both webcams also come with a new magnetic mount making them easier to attach to some surfaces, and are much cheaper than the original Insta360 Link, which debuted at $299.99 in 2022. Both the Link 2 and new Link 2C use the same half-inch sensor of the original Link paired with a 26-millimeter equivalent f1.
Insta360’s excellent Link webcam gets a pair of successors
I suspect I’m like most folks in the sense that my webcam generally stays in a fixed position. Booting up the first Link requires it to orient itself every time. Insta360 has addressed the issue by announcing two additions to the line: the Link 2 and Link 2C.
