AAP leader Atishi became the 17th woman Chief Minister in the country and the third woman Chief Minister of Delhi as she took oath on Saturday.

Delhi Police provided security to newly appointed CM Atishi. Her security may be enhanced after a threat assessment by central agencies at the direction of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Senior AAP leader Atishi was administered oath as the eighth Chief Minister of Delhi by Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena on Saturday.

Alongside Atishi, Gopal Rai, Kailash Gahlot, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Imran Hussain, and Mukesh Ahlawat were also sworn in as cabinet ministers.

Atishi, sworn in as Delhi's new Chief Minister along with five cabinet ministers, urged the public to ensure Arvind Kejriwal's return. She criticized the BJP for conspiring against him and highlighted Kejriwal's contributions.
