On Thursday at 1:59 p.m. the NWS Wakefield VA issued a wind advisory valid for Friday between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. The advisory is for Western Currituck, Eastern Currituck, Norfolk/Portsmouth and Virginia Beach.

On Thursday at 7:29 a.m. a coastal flood advisory was issued by the NWS Wilmington NC. The advisory is for Coastal Pender, Coastal New Hanover and Coastal Brunswick.

Seattle's NWS issued a flood advisory warning of minor coastal flooding with high tide expected to cause tidal overflow.

A coastal flood warning was issued by the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC on Thursday at 4:44 a.m. valid from Friday 3 a.m. until Saturday 10 a.m.

The NWS adds, "Affected areas listed are based on average tide conditions. Additional locations may experience flooding during periods of heavy rainfall, high winds, or other factors." "The lowest portions of Battleship Road and USS North Carolina Road observe minor coastal flooding of about one foot in depth.
