In June, Sun Country Airlines became the eighth major airliner to fly to and from the Albuquerque airport, offering a seasonal, twice-weekly nonstop service between the Sunport and the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. And in September 2023, Southwest added a daily, nonstop flight between the Sunport and Long Beach Airport.

Another nonstop flight route is coming to the Albuquerque International Sunport. People will be able to fly on Southwest between Duke City and Nashville International Airport starting in April 2025. Nashville will become the Sunport’s 30th nonstop destination.
