India is intensifying its efforts to extradite Khalistani terrorist Arshdeep Singh Gill, aka Arsh Dalla, from Canada. Dalla faces over 50 charges in India, including murder, attempted murder, extortion and terror financing. He is the leader of the banned Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) and was designated an individual terrorist by India in 2023.

Ontario/IBNS: India on Thursday said it would follow up on its request to extradite terrorist Arshdeep Gill, alias Arsh Dalla, who is the de facto chief of the banned Khalistan Tiger Force, with a court in Canada's Ontario listing the matter for hearing after his reported arrest.

Spokesperson on Thursday said that Indian agencies will be following up on an extradition request of Arsh Singh Gill alias Arsh Dalla, who has been arrested in Canada. He was designated in India as an individual terrorist in 2023.

India will seek extradition of Arsh Singh Gill alias Arsh Dalla, the de facto chief of the Khalistan Tiger Force, from Canada as he is a proclaimed offender here. He was reportedly arrested there recently and it is expected that he will be extradited or deported to face justice in India,

Indian authorities had asked Canada for his provisional arrest in July 2023, but the request was denied. However, the MEA expressed confidence that Dalla would now be extradited or deported to face justice in India.

India on Thursday said that Arsh Singh Gill alias Arsh Dalla, who is considered a Khalistani terrorist by the government, is expected to be extradited or deported from Canada. A statement by Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that India will be following up on an extradition request so that the "proclaimed offender" can face justice in India.
