Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake may have beautiful, updated graphics, but the soul of this adventure is as old-school as ever. As one of the first tasks of your adventure, you’ll need to make your way over to Patty’s Party Planning Place to recruit three companions.

It seems there are some notable differences with the box art and game cartridge. Once again, Japan gets the cool version - with a double-sided cover. The inside sleeve features some retro-style artwork of Dragon Quest III, while the US and European version appears to just be a white page loaded with legal text.

There are 46 personalities for players to use on their characters in Dragon Quest 3 Remake. A personality determines how that character levels up, increasing and decreasing the points earned in specific stats.
